Ryan is a marriage counsellor who deals with the usual issues that couples face. His colleague Rachel refers Anna and her husband to him with the warning that he should try not to fall in love with her. Having no idea what she meant by that, Ryan begins sessions with the couple only to discover that he is, indeed, falling in love with her. Boundaries are crossed and loyalties are challenged as Ryan must decide if this is real or if he is now part of a larger, more complicated game.
